Terms of Purchase of Goods or Services from Owen-Rhus Furnishings

 

. General

 The contract made by you "the Buyer" with us Owen-Rhys Furnishings"incorporates these terms and conditions, which shall prevail over any and all terms and conditions, proposed by you.

When you proceed with your purchase  you are agree to have read and agreed to these terms and conditions.

 When we have received your order by email and you are paying by credit or debit card we will prosess your order once your details are veryfied. If  you wish to pay by cheque or Bankers draft we will contact you by phone or email to discuss your payment options. We will confirm that your order has
been accepted by sending an email to you at the email address you provide in your order form. Once your details are verified and payments are confirmed Our acceptance of your order brings into existence a legally binding contract between us. A copy of the terms is available upon request.


 We have a policy of continuous product development and reserve the right to amend the specifications of products. Products supplied may differ as a consequence from those on display or advertised. Unless agreed with you before, the products supplied will be of equivalent value, functionality and appearance

Prices and Payments

Every effort is made to ensure the complete accuracy of our website, however some prices/details contained on the website may change from time to time and it is possible that errors will occur. We will use our best endeavors to rectify any errors, as swiftly as possible but we cannot be responsible for any losses incurred.

 All products and prices are subject to availability

Goods are charged at price shown on the product pages on the date the customer places the order. Goods may be paid for by secure credit card transaction by telephone, personal cheque or building society cheque. Cheques to be made payable to "O&R Enterprise Ltd”.  Prices are correct at time of publication. Errors and omissions are excepted. Orders will be processed at our published prices.


 We reserve the right to change our prices from time-to-time. All reasonable efforts will be made to update the website of any price changes as they occur. The price will not be altered once we have received and accepted your order.

Payment options

Payments are required at point of ordering. Payment can me taken by credit/debit card, postal order or cheque. As soon as your item/s are ready for despatch and deposit payments have cleared (where appropriate) we will contact you to confirm the delivery date.  At this point (despatch from our warehouse) No delivery will be made untill payments are cleared.

No warranty is given by Owen-Rhys Furnishings. Owen-Rhys Furnishings will not be liable to you in any way, and will not refund any part of the purchase price for that furniture, in respect of you being unable to place the furniture in its intended place. In the event that you are unable to place the furniture, Owen-Rhys Furnishings may be in its absolute discretion issue you a credit note for the amount of the purchase price subject to you returning the furniture to Owen-Rhys Furnishings in perfect condition and at your own cost. As the purchaser you are liable to check the quality of the furniture when it is delivered. You are required to sign  a  a delivery note, when you sign this you are stating that the goods are delivered to you in good condition. If you have not open the package and not inspected the goods, please state thet you have not inspected the goods on the delivery note. If the pacage is damaged please state this also on the delivery note.Replacements can only be provided if there are any signs of damage direct from the manufacturer. Notice must be given to Owen-Rhys Furnishings within 48 hours of delivery if this occurs.  Your Statutory Rights are not affected.

Delivery
 To prevent fraud and for security reasons we will only deliver to the address that the credir card is issued. Suite cushions are made to order in the requested fabric; on such occasions delivery time is usually four to six weeks from order.  Please ask for your desired cushions (fabric, colour etc) and we will inform you at this time if they are in stock.  If any furniture item is out of stock at the time of us receiving the order, the customer shall be contacted and informed of the estimated supply date.  When an estimated delivery is quoted on the order acknowledgement this will be our best estimate at the time and will not form a contract.  If for any reason delivery is not possible as estimated we will communicate as soon as possible with the customer to arrange a suitable alternative.  The customer may at this time, if they wish, cancel and receive full refund of their deposit.

The majority of deliveries are Mondays to Saturdays 9am – 12pm or 1pm – 5pm. Please ensure there is someone at the property to receive the goods as they will have to be signed for. Ensure all access points are clear of obstacles. On the delivery day a two person team will place the furniture in the room of your choice and unwrap the furniture unless otherwise requested.

Important - Are you Sure You Have Measured Correctly?

Particularly when ordering larger furniture items (sofas, armchairs etc.) it is very important that you carefully measure both the ultimate location of the item and also whether you can get it to the location.  Before ordering your furniture please check the dimensions of internal and external access points, including, doors, corridors, stairs and corners. Check for dimensions against your desired furniture to ensure access is possible.  If you are in any doubt at this time, please be sure to check again and let us know if there is a problem.

Measurement Guidelines As an indication: 5cms = 2 inches, 1m = 3ft 3½ inches

Return of Goods

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with the goods, you must inform us within seven days of your receipt of the goods. You must return the goods to us at our address (see contacts page) at your own cost.   If the goods are found to be faulty on delivery to you, please notify within 48 hours. All products to be returned must be carefully repackaged in their original packing and posted  back to us at your own cost. We will investigate the fault, if proven we will exchange the goods or return your money. This does not affect your Statutory Rights.

Exclusive

Owen-Rhys Furnishings offer stylish, individual furniture and home furnishings that reflect your own taste and lifestyle.  The majority of our furniture is exclusive to us in the UK for our customers’ enjoyment.

Colours and Shades

The colour of furniture/fabrics may appear different under different light conditions. Owen-Rhys Furnishings will not be liable to you in any way if the colour of the furniture purchased by you appears different under different light conditions. This also applies to the general appearance of the furniture as all pieces are unique. This will not affect any rights you may have by law in respect of the furniture or the contract for the purchase of it.
